Heaven Mary Balser

Heaven deLivaudais Balser, 77, of Mandeville La., passed away on January 12, 2022 peacefully in the home she shared with her beloved daughter, Cheri Saltaformaggio.
Heaven was born on December 28, 1944 to the late Paul and Naomi deLivaudais in New Orleans, La. and was the oldest of 8 children.
Heaven married the love of her life, Milton “Tiny” Balser Jr. and went on to have 3 children, Debbie Zeigler (William), Cheri Saltaformaggio and Milton Balser III (Nicolle). She was the devoted grandmother to 8 grandchildren, Brittany Campbell (Chris), Taylor Sagan (Charles), Tony Saltaformaggio (Erica), Christian Goodlett (Ryan), Brice Pilie (Noel), Logan Balser, Cullen Bivona and Sydney Balser. Along with her 8 grandchildren, Heaven was blessed to be the great grandmother of Collins Goodlett, Conner Goodlett, Elliana Campbell, William Campbell, Sutton Saltaformaggio and Austin Saltaformaggio.
Heaven loved to cook for her family and friends. She adored being a part of their lives and loved her family fiercely.
Heaven lived in Bucktown most of her married life and worked at the rectory of St. Louis King of France in Metairie. She was also an active member of the Cabrini High School Parents club where she served as president.
Heaven was predeceased by her husband, Milton Balser Jr., brothers James deLivaudais and Edward deLivaudais, her nephew Stephen Gaudet and her sister Geralyn Laurent. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
Services will be held at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. 70119 on 1/20/2022. Visitation is from 10:00-1:30 with a funeral mass to follow. The burial will be at Garden of Memories.
