Gloria Thompson Osoinach

Gloria Thompson Osoinach passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at the age of 96.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Henry W. Osoinach, Jr.; her parents, Edward St. Cyr Thompson and Hilda Blohm Thompson; and her sisters, Hilda June Soniat and Shirley Thompson Morrow.
Gloria is survived by her children, Henry “Hank” W. Osoinach, III (Joan), Jan Osoinach Hartberg (Craig), Tamar “Tami” O. Luke (the late Steve), and Anton T. Osoinach (Anne); her grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Michael, Bryce, Heidi, Benjamin, and Emmy Grace; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Sophie, Nicholas, Zoey, Tate, Mila, Cade, and Keira. Gloria is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Gloria was a shining example of the Christian value of Charity. She was a member of the Methodist Women’s Circle, as well as the Rotary Inner Wheels. She participated in many outreach activities to better the community, and continued that charity of spirit with her membership in her Church, First Assembly of God, and membership in their Women’s Volunteer Group.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life for Gloria on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God, 2001 Transcontinental Dr., Metairie, LA 70001. A visitation with refreshments will be held prior, beginning at 11:00 AM. A committal ceremony will follow services at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70001.
