George Aurelio Menes

George A. Menes, a dedicated employee, loving father, and devoted husband, passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 70. His loss leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

George served as the Federal System Project Manager for TYCO/ADT, where his diligence, expertise, and leadership were instrumental in the company's success. His colleagues admired his professionalism and his ability to navigate challenges with grace and determination.

Outside of his professional life, George had a deep passion for music, movies, radios, and electronics. His love for these interests brought him joy and enriched his life, serving as a testament to his curious and creative spirit.

He was a loving and supportive husband to his beloved wife, Conchy Menes and his children: Jorge A Menes III (Eglė), Michelle Ellzey (Lonn), and Melanie Menes. His guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love shaped their lives and fostered a strong bond that will endure forever.

George's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Reid Ellzey, Brooklyn Ellzey, Dakota Goodson, and Savanna Goodson. He took great pride in their accomplishments and milestones, embracing his role as a grandfather with the same warmth and affection he had for his own children.

A memorial service to celebrate George's life will be held on Sunday, August 20th from 1-5pm at The Moore, 5616 Citrus Blvd, Harahan LA.

George A. Menes will be fondly remembered for his dedication, ingenuity and the impact he made on the lives he touched. May his memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who mourn his loss.
