Frederick Joseph Fabacher

Fredrick J. Fabacher, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 6, 2021. He spent most of his life in Metairie, Louisiana and was a graduate of St. Stanislaus. He attended Tulane University before working many years in the automobile industry and retired as a stockbroker. He was a devout parishioner at St. Philip Neri for over 50 years. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed various fitness activities and traveling with his beloved wife, Marlene.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Fabacher and Lucille Tujaque Fabacher and sisters, Elaine Blaser, Janice Kerner, and Gretchen Rouzan. Mr. Fabacher is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marlene L. Fabacher of Metairie, Louisiana; four children, Brian Fabacher and wife Betsy of Vidalia, Georgia, Craig Fabacher and wife Renee of Kenner, Louisiana, Kirk Fabacher and wife Angela of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Michael Fabacher of Atlanta, Georgia. He was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Pops”, Rachel Currault, Matt Fabacher, Olivia Fabacher, Kyle Fabacher, Tori Fabacher, Taylor Fabacher, Lillian Fabacher, and Blaise Fabacher and great granddaughter Ellie Currault. He is also survived by sisters Carol Offord and Marion Eigenbrod, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, July 13th from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with mass to follow at Garden of Memories.
