Frank Joseph Brocato

Frank Joseph Brocato, a former teacher and high school counselor for the Jefferson Parish Public School system for 34 years, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the age of 88. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends whom he enjoyed spending time with. He was the beloved husband of the late Emilie Graugnard Brocato for 64 years and the father of Richard Brocato (Mary), Brenda Drake, David Brocato and Brian Brocato (Melissa). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Rose Brocato Hare and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Brocato, Sr. and Catherine Hebert Brocato and two brothers, Sam Brocato and Henry Brocato.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
