Flora Cecelia Pike Dufour

Flora Cecelia Pike Dufour, 90, died in her home on Saturday, November 24, 2018 after a long illness. Flora was born on June 25, 1928 in Cottonport, LA and was a resident of River Ridge, LA for the last 61 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Elwood Dufour, her parents Whitney and Lena Pike, her siblings Whitney G. Pike, Ira Pike, and Delores Bell. She is survived by her loving children, Wanda Cullen (Patrick), Pamela Cullen (Mark), Randy Dufour (Linda), and Fr. David Dufour; her loving grandchildren and their spouses, Katherine Colón, Theresa Cullen, John Cullen, Ryan Cullen, Daniel Cullen, Timothy Cullen, Josh Cullen, Michael Dufour, David Cullen, Sean Cullen, and Jared Cullen; and step-grandchildren, Russ Acosta and Angelle Wyatt. Flora was also the great-grandmother of 49. She worked at Camp Claiborne before marriage and later in life for the Jefferson Parish Council on Aging.  Above all, she was very caring and devoted to her faith and her family. All are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 4337 Sal Lentini Parkway, Kenner, LA with visitation from 11:00 AM until Mass time. In lieu of flowers, donations to Divine Mercy Parish Capital Campaign are requested.
