Falyn Renee Marelo

Falyn Renee Marelo earned her angel wings on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 12:45 am at the age of 32. Falyn was the loving daughter of Lisa and Tony Maggio and sister to Trevor. Falyn is survived by her maternal grandfather, Hardie Marelo; aunts and uncles: Sheri M. and Art Hanzo, Gina M. and Rodney Bergeron, Stacy M. and Butch Favalora, Rene and Toni Maggio, Gloria M. and Wade Poorman, Nick Maggio, and Julius Marelo; and numerous cousins, friends, and caregivers. Falyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Colleen M. Marelo; paternal grandmother, Gloria R. Maggio; paternal grandfather, Marion R. Maggio; and aunt, Georgia Marelo. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Falyn’s caregivers, especially Agnes Crawford and Jaimie Kimble, Superior Options of Louisiana and Quality Care Support. Falyn was a true blessing from God. She had a special way about her and screamed to show her excitement. She was happiest watching and singing along with Barney all day. Falyn touched many lives in her short time on earth. To know Falyn was to love her. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, July 12, 2021.
