Eunice Bergeron Elfer passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Covington, LA. She was a resident of Jefferson Parish and Harahan for 75 years. She was born on November 29, 1929 in New Orleans to the late Paul Gaston Bergeron Sr. and Eunice Jewell Bergeron. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharleen Elfer; her son, Whitney Elfer; her granddaughter, Michelle Gallagher; and her siblings: Beverly Twilbeck, Johnny Bergeron, and Gerald Bergeron.
Eunice is survived by her children: Herman Elfer Jr. (Sue), Wayne Elfer (Pam), Tracey Garland (Danny), Terri Sanders (Gary), and Johnny Rivers (Katie); her siblings: Paul Bergeron Jr., Carl Bergeron, Ethel McGovern, and Geraldine "Deanie" Bergeron-Doescher; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, November 3, 2017. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm with a service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
