Earle Fremont Tingley, also known as Monty to his friends and family, passed away on December 10, 2018. He was blessed to live 91 years on this earth. He was born in Tampa, Fl to Earle F. Tingley, Sr. and Marion Hill Tingley, both deceased. Earle was the husband of the late Marion Cribb Tingley. Earle’s first wife and mother of his children was the late Constance Chookas Tingley. He was the proud father of Brian A. Tingley, deceased (wife Hai), Ross H. Tingley, Alexandra “Lexie” Fuller (husband Randy), and Melissa “Lisa” Crowder-Borne (husband Grant). He was blessed to be “Paw-Paw” of eight grandchildren: Kimberly Zimmerman, Kenny Tingley, April Gilbert, Rachael Crowder, Danielle Crowder, Rand Fuller, Nicholas Fuller, and Kyle Fuller. He had 14 great-grandchildren and was the oldest brother to the late Buddy, Camille, Sylvia and Terry Tingley, all of whom he loved dearly.
Earle was a Geologist working for many years for Getty Oil. He later worked for PIMCO, Tennaco and Graham Energy. He was proud to have opened offices for Graham Energy in both Calgary, Canada and Corpus Christi, TX before he retired to Many, LA. There he enjoyed living close to his brothers and his father before moving back to the New Orleans area.
He will be missed greatly.
