Dorothy H Wade

Dorothy Hosli Wade passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, May 12, 2018. She spent a lifetime caring for others, starting with her parents Ruby Thompson Hosli and Clarence Hosli, continuing with the children entrusted to her care during her many years as an elementary school teacher.

Her loving care continued through her marriage to the late Clinton Perry Wade and then to her daughters Elizabeth Jordan (Ralph) and Perryn Waelde (Paul) and their families.

Her care further extended to the many others whose lives she touched. 

She is survived by her daughters and six beautiful grandchildren Benjamin, David, Mary, Amanda, Thomas, and Evan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church, 309 Manson Ave, Metairie, LA 70001 followed by Mass at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie.
