Doris retired from Sears, Roebuck and Company; she adored her work family and every one of her days there. She was a longtime volunteer and friend to all. Doris had a smile and gentle helping hand always for those in need.
The love and great joy of Doris’ life was her family. She always made time for everyone and always put everyone’s needs above her own. Doris was the beloved angel to her family and her sweet, funny, bright spirit will be so missed. Her “Rangerette smile” could thaw any cold heart and heal any hurt. Doris’ goodness and sparkle made every day special for those around her; she always reminded her family to “Love One Another.” Doris always remembered everyone’s favorites; all her family and friends will treasure forever her sweet and loving cards, notes, letters. She was kind to everyone and made friends wherever she went. The strength of Doris’ soul and the depth of her love and devotion will be an inspiration forever. Beloved Mother, beloved “Dice,” Doris made everyone around her a better person.
