Dorinda Porras Fiallos

Dorinda Porras Fiallos, a retired seamstress from JC Penney's, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Benjamin Fiallos Sr. , her parents, Jose and Isabel Porras; her step-daughter, Socorro Fiallos Sandigo, a grandchild, Magely Soriano and six siblings: Enrique Porras, Julia Porras, Adelina Marquez, Benino Porras, Emila Rodas and Chana Porras. She is survived by her son, Benjamin Fiallos Jr. (Lisa); four grandchildren: Sabrina Fiallos, Felix Fiallos, Saira Soriano and Walter Solis. She is also survived by five siblings, Hijinio Porras, Tito Porras, Blandina Porras, Felicia Moreno and Benita Cruz in additon to numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm followed by a service. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Please note that due to current state restrictions, visitation is limited to 150 people and masks are required.
