Don Robert Hewitt

Don Robert Hewitt passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Esther Pastor Hewitt, and his parents, William James Hewitt and Mary Rose Bell Hewitt. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Julie Hewitt Harris (Chad); grandchildren: Mason Matherne (Ashley), Peyton Matherne (Tailer Stein), Miles Harris, and Andrew Harris; and his brother, Michael James Hewitt.
Don worked for WWOM FM radio station in Kansas City, MO and then worked for South Central Bell/AT&T until he retired after Hurricane Katrina. He was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church where he volunteered his time.
Memorial services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 6425 W. Metairie Ave Metairie, LA 70003 on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a Mass starting at 12:00 noon followed by inurnment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
