Dominic Joseph Avella

Dominic Joseph Avella was called Home on Monday, September 24, 2018 in Lafayette, LA. Dominic is survived by his loving mother Maria Todaro Nicholson (Barry) and father Francisco Avella (
Dalila); his grandparents Blaise and Estelle Todaro; his siblings Francisco Avella, Jr. (Ruby), Giovanni Avella, Jose Avella, David Avella, Paco Avella, and Jenny Nicholson; his aunt Virginia Abel (the late Kerry); his uncle Stephen Todaro; cousins Angel (Miguel), Kerry (Erin), Christina (Dennis), and Virginia (Sean); Michael (Karla), and Matthew; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his uncles Blaise Todaro and Joseph Todaro.

Dominic graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 2015. He was passionate about music, and made a lasting impression on all who knew him. Dominic inspired so many, and will continue to do so long after his passing.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held prior to mass beginning at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
