Dolores Eslava Numnum

Dolores Eslava Numnum passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 81. Daughter of the late Paulina and Thomas Eslava; sister to Chris Eslava, the late Thomas Eslava and the late Dolly Nezat; mother to Tammy Freeman (David), Debbie Bordelon, Robert “Robbie” Bordelon (Kathy) and Jerry Bordelon; grandmother to Douglas (Jackie), David (Nicole), Ashley, Crystal (Lorne), and Gavin Freeman, Bobby (Kristina) and Johnny Bordelon, Katie, Rene (Jamie) and Robby (Courtney) Bordelon, and Jenny, the late Lil’ Jerry, John and Josh (Brittany) Bordelon; great-grandmother to Alyssa, Douglas “Lil’ Dougie,” Madison, Grace and Jacob Freeman, Braxton and Mayia Ballard, Kassidy and Tytan Bordelon, Katlyn, Minah and Braden Bordelon, K’Den, K’Shine and K’Leigha Smith, Riley and Bentley Bordelon, and Adalynn and Zach Bordelon.
Dolores lived for her family, and never missed a chance to spoil her grandbabies. Her love of music and dancing was infectious. She can be found cutting a rug to Freddy Fender, teaching her family to jitterbug.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001. A funeral mass will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm.
