Dianna A. Howard

Dianna America Howard passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 88. She is the loving mother of 4 children: Salome Lizette Henriquez, the late Raul Medrano, the late Leonel Medrano, and the late Rolando Medrano. She was the devoted grandmother of Grace Del Arca and her husband, Olan, Jennifer Piloto, Christopher Piloto, and Amber Funez and her husband, Jorge. Great-grandmother of Jochelyn Diaz (Reynoldo), Linda Del Arca, Ashley Velasquez, Olan Del Arca,Jr., Sarai Piloto, Tania Del Arca, Victoria Velasquez, Christopher Piloto, Jr., Diamante Cruz, Jose Cruz, Jr., Abelardo Piloto, Nala Rodriguez, Hennessey Funez, Cuba Piloto, J’Prince Funez and great-great-grandmother of Xalayah Cruz. Born December 19, 1932 to her beloved parent, Maria Luisa Ruiz and Alberto Lopez.
Our Mom/Grandma was a gorgeous woman, amazing and someone whom we admired for being such a hard worker as a seamstress/Housekeeper, honest and away teaching us the same values!  She loved to do cross puzzles and read and loved very much her daughter Salome, grandkids, great-grandkids and family. We will always love you and have you in our hearts!! You’ll be loved and missed our Angel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Tharp-Sontheimer Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie, LA 70001 on Monday, October 4, 2021. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by a Mass at 2:00 pm.
