Dennis Anthony Moreau

Dennis A. Moreau passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the age of 72. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Patsy Bolnar Moreau; two sons Kenneth Richard Moreau (Tonuya) and Scott Anthony Moreau (Sally); grandchildren Ryan Kenneth Moreau, Amanda Anne Moreau, and Ethan Joseph Moreau; his goddaughter Kristin O'Brien-Fowlkes; brother-in-law Randy Bolnar (Debbie); cousins Carol & George O'Brien and Nina Butterworth; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Samantha Moreau Kirchem; his parents Camille and Anne Moreau; his brother Thomas Moreau; his sister Charlene Moreau; and his godson Matthew Louis Bolnar. Dennis, "Big D" as he was affectionately known, proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was known as the life of the party, always smiling and making people laugh with his jokes and quick wit. He will be remembered as a good friend and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Divine Mercy Catholic Church 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner , LA 70065 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at church prior to mass from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
