Deanne Larock Cicero

Deanne Larock Cicero, born in Niagara Falls, NY and a resident of Kenner, LA, gained her wings and entered Heaven’s gates on Tuesday, June 20, 2021. She was 82 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Joseph and Geraldine (Hamilton) Larock; her husband, Samuel Lewis Cicero; her brother, Fred LaRock; her children: Suanne Schmolke, Anthony Cicero, Danielle Cicero, Mark Cicero and a son-in-law, George Dragon. She is survived by her companion of many years, Dionisio Somarriba (Jack), who adored her and is considered a member of our family. Deanne was the oldest of seven children and is survived by her brothers and sisters: Steve, Greg, Phyllis, Lynn and Carl as well as her loving children: Denise Procaccini (Bill), Michael Fieramusca (Toni), Paulette Heller (Hal), and Sandra Dragon. Deanne was a proud grandmother to Lisa Donovan, Randall Shaw, Jennifer Procaccini, Troy Moran-Dragon, Chris Heller, Savanna Heller, Krystin Rein, Timmy Fieramusca, and Michael Fieramusca, Jr., Aaron Richard, Samantha Dragon and Mason Schmolke.

Deanne worked in the cosmetic industry for years while raising her children, then grandchildren as time passed. She was a beloved Gigi to many great grandchildren and took great pride as a matriarch for as long as she was blessed to be one. From family barbecues, vacations, shopping trips or just casual swims in her backyard pool, Deanne loved to have fun with those she loved. She was known for her style in many ways, classy and elegant to name a few. Her flamboyant and bold personality will be missed fiercely. May we continue to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Monday evening, July 26, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning, July 27, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a prayer service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
