Dale Myron Seth

Dale Seth passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the age of 63. He is survived by his loving ex-partner, Zuleika Burke and their beautiful daughter, Zacha Aurora Seth. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Frederick Seth and brother, Frederick Seth Jr. Also survived by his siblings, Michael and Patricia Seth, and cousin Les Dickerson.
Dale worked in the department of Physiology at Tulane University from 2000-2016. During this time, he served as Medical Research Specialist, Safety Officer and Director of Departmental Resources and Facilities. He was responsible for the departmental equipment and the Core facilities providing resources and training for faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students and staff. Dale was a committed, meticulous investigator who took great pride in his work and consistently worked long hours to accommodate the Department’s needs. He participated in all aspects of the science and his contributions have been reflected by co-authorships of numerous publications. His expertise in radioimmunoassay of angiotensin peptides was instrumental in providing important data that were published in many highly regarded peer-reviewed journals. His overall contributions were critical in the development of the Hypertension and Renal Center of Excellence. Dale was a humble man who loved to share his extensive knowledge with others. He will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service at 11:00 am followed by burial. Due to state regulations, masks are required at all times and attendance is limited to 150 people.
