Collin Michael Archuleta, age 17, passed away on Monday morning, April 17, 2017. He was the beloved son of Kelly Martin Patureau and the late Christopher Archuleta; stepson of Jeffrey Patureau and Kevin “Pops” Kempf and godson of Laurie Martin Baye. Brother of Cody Matthew Archuleta and stepbrother of Carson David Patureau. Grandson of Randy and Donna Duffourc Martin and H. Michael and Delores Archuleta; step grandson of Julie Martin, Brian and Penny Patureau, and Judy and Ed Knight. Nephew of Boogie Baye, Sandra and Chris David, Jennie Hahn and Michael Archuleta, and Diane and Rocky Lefevre. Cousin of Jordan Baye, Haley, Allie and Macy David, Tyler, Nathan and Noah Archuleta, and Kaitlyn Hahn. Collin was employed by PG NOLA, attended Crescent City Christian School, was active in the Young Life Youth Group and enjoyed playing soccer, longboarding and watching Grey’s Anatomy. He loved the students, faculty and staff of Crescent City Christian School, especially his girlfriend, Lilly Estrada and his leadership mentor, Cindy Johnson. He was also blessed to have Debra Cooper as his former principal and friend.
The family would like to express their gratitude to their extended family, Vista Shores Assisted Living and Memory Care and the Jefferson Parish Fire Department for their love and support.
A Celebration of Collin’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Celebration Church, 2001 Airline Drive in Metairie.
In lieu of flowers, cards and pictures are preferred. Also, guests are encouraged to wear Collin’s favorite color – purple.
