Clifford Reis Sr.

Clifford Reis, Sr. passed away peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 56 years to Elaine Dieck Reis. Loving father of Laurie R. Brister (Andy), Clifford Reis, Jr. (Wendi), and Karen R. Barrilleaux (John). Grandfather of Allison E. Brister, Jacob A. Brister, and Kate V. Barrilleaux. Son of the late Frank Reis, III and Eva M. Reis. Brother of Frank Reis, IV (late, Sylvia) and Nicholas Reis (Ava). Brother-in-law of Edward and Carolyn Casey. Uncle of Ryan Casey (Joie), Bill Reis (Lindsey), Roy Reis (Jessica), Nicholas Reis (Micah), and Sheryl Mazerat (Don). Also survived by a host of great nieces and great nephews.
Clifford worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a postal carrier for 37 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. Duke Council, the Year Round Tiger Booster Club, the Fun & Frolic Club, and was the Past President and Health Benefit Representative of the NALC Local 6119.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at St. Ann Church and Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Dr. in Metairie, LA on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon followed by interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred or donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
