Clarence John Mehle Sr.

Clarence John Mehle Sr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2021 at the age of 92. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Eileen Gross Mehle. Also survived by his children, Connie Mehle Anderson (Steven Joseph Anderson) and Clarence John Mehle Jr. (Marlene Lanclos Mehle); grandchildren, Brittany Fay Mehle, Brooke Megan Mehle and Eric Steven Anderson and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Louise Bahle Mehle; his siblings, Fredrick T. Mehle Jr., Charles R. Mehle and Marilyn M. Schneller.
Clarence graduated from Warren Easton High School; Retired from the Public Service/ Entergy after 32 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army Artillery in Germany from January 11, 1952 to December 9, 1953. Received the Good Conduct, Army of Occupation and National Defense Service Medals. He was an active member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Upon retirement, his hobbies were playing golf with his twin brother and going on cruises with his wife. He loved watching football games and eating seafood.
