Charles J. Sule Sr. passed away suddenly on Friday June 9th at the age of 71. He was born in New Orleans to Steve and Marie Lupo Sule. Charles and his wife of 51 years, DeEtta Guillory Sule, moved to Hammond in 2006. He is retired from Air Products. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Nelson and Delores Guillory and brother-in-law Hubia, killed in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife DeEtta, 2 sons: Charles Jr and wife Michelle, Chris and wife Danielle, 4 grandchildren: Emily, Claire, Tatum and Evan, sister Lena Sule, sister-in-law Carol Guillory Sanchez her husband Charles and their son Charles Jr and wife Jodi. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was always there with a smile when anyone needed his help or just wanted to talk. He was a shining light that will be truly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time. Interment will be private at a later date.
