My condolences to you, Nina, and Chip. I remember Charlie as being such a gentle man with a great sense of humor. I'm sorry that we lost touch with each other, but hope that you will find solace in the thought that you have been there for Charlie through all the years. I know he will be greatly missed but is now with his Savior. My love to all. Ana McManus

I just saw Charles obituary on line. I am sorry for the loneliness you are feeling, but I am happy his suffering is over. You are in my thoughts and prayers. They are both in a wonderful place now. Hazel's funeral was today at 2 pm. Lake Lawn doesn't want her body until after Mardi Gras. I will try to see if I can get something done next week. I am hoping I can fly down and back in one day, rent a car and make sure she is settled in the mausoleum. I am hoping I can have time to come by your home and all her friends on Garden St. I will see about a short service or visit at the cemetery with the Centanni family and my niece from Baton Rouge. I don't think any of her and Mike's friends would be able to attend a service. I will call when I have a day to be in Metairie. God bless and keep you near. Much love,
