Charles Hudson, III

Charles Hudson III passed away peacefully with family members present on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the age of 72. He was a lovely father and husband who always worked hard to provide for his family, including volunteering as a firefighter for over 43 years with the Kenner Volunteer Fire Company and Westwego Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed a career in road work, roofing, and truck driving throughout his life. He now joins the love of his life in heaven, his wife Carol Vicknair Hudson. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hudson Jr., his mother, Almedia Commiskey Hudson along with his two sisters, Janis Walder and Dale Armand Hudson.  He is survived by his children, Charles M. Hudson (Leslie), Kimberly A. Hudson (Chad), Kristy L. Richard, Corey J. Hudson (Amanda), Chad J. Hudson (Jack) and the lights of his eyes, his grandchildren: Katelyn Hudson, Tyler Vinet, Riley Richard, Kassidy Hudson, Gavin Richard and Landyn Hudson.  Our Pops will be missed by many whom he has touched or helped throughout his life, but nonetheless than his family who loved and admired him.
