Carlo Joseph Quartararo

March 10, 1977 ~ April 15, 2022 (age 45) 45 Years Old

Tribute

Carlo Joseph Quartararo was called home to heaven on Good Friday, April 15th, 2022 at the age of 45.
Carlo was a 1996 graduate of East Jefferson High School where he was a star player of the football team. Along with some of his best friends they went on to win the 1994 District Championship that year. He excelled in any position on the field playing offense, defense and special teams. Carlo was then chosen to represent the East in the regionals. Carlo also received numerous scholarship offers from all over including Nebraska. He chose to stay close to home near his large loving family and Mother which was very important to him. He continued to be a huge sports fan with the N.O. Saints and Chicago Cubs among his favorites.
Carlo found pleasure in playing softball, fishing, music and riding his motorbike. He also had a special place in his heart for animals- most importantly his dog Sarge who loved to watch football with him and his late basketball playing Golden Retriever Oscar.
Carlo was a big guy with a big personality and heart. He was charismatic and had the ability to make others laugh. Carlo never met a stranger and loved to help others.
Carlo met the love of his life twelve years ago with his sensational dance moves. Six years ago he married Wendy “Toni” Bell, always calling her by her middle name “Toni” because it sounded more Italian.
Carlo’s charm, love and laughter will leave a void in our lives but continue to bring many more smiles and laughs from our short but very special time with him. Carlo is survived by his wife Wendy “Toni” Bell Quartararo; Son, Donovan Crawford; Late father, Ricky Quartararo (Bette); Loving Mother, Cheryl Gallagher Quartararo; Aunts, Pat Brisset (Richie), Peggy Tornabene, Brenda Hyde (Emmett), JoAnn Gray, Sharon Styron, Randi Quartararo and the late Terri Guchereau; Uncles, Raymond Gallagher, Randy Gallagher, Lionel Salvant, late C.J. Quartararo and the late Calvin Gray as well as a host of cousins and very important lifelong friends he considered Brothers, Andy Lindberg and Van Ricks.
