LOVE LIKE CAM

Cameron Nicholas Calamari passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 1:24 PM.  He was born on December 25, 2002 to his loving parents, Kevin and Angie Calamari. Cameron was a proud Senior Rummel Raider, soon to graduate in 2022. He was a member of many cheer teams. Cameron’s cheer career began at Green Park and TH Harris and advanced to Rummel High School. He participated at Allstar gyms like Tiger Elite, Cheer Force and Nola Allstars. He was so full of life and had much love to share. The friendships and bonds he created with people were one of a kind.  Cameron wanted to do nothing but give to others. He had made a previous decision to be an organ donor if the time ever came, and subsequently, became a giver of life. Some of the attributes his friends and family used to describe him are: fearless, caring, supportive, loving, exemplary, competitive, entertaining, spirited and humble.

He will be fondly remembered and exceedingly missed by his parents, Angela and Kevin Calamari; his sister, Megan Flettrich (Johnny); his nephews, Dawson Calamari, Jaxon Flettrich and Londyn Flettrich; his grandparents, Sharon Shaver (Norm), MaryAnn Calamari and Dierdre Pecquet; his aunts, Darlene Jones (Gerry), Melinda Coello (Wade) and Lori Dauphin (Charlie) and 11 cousins: Sabrina Coello (Eric), Gabrielle Adams (James), Victoria Jones (Trenell), Gino Rodriguez, Blake Kinkaid (Kim), Madeline Johnson (TJ), Noah Dauphin, Hayleigh Dauphin, Janeal Langley, Dakota Gratia and Mallory Gray. He also leaves behind a host of other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marion Calamari and Gary Pecquet.

The visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 105 Bonnabel Blvd, Metairie, LA 70005.
