Beverly "Bettie" Ulfers Shiver

Beverly “Bettie” Ulfers Shiver, a resident of River Ridge, LA and a native of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the age of 88. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliaries for VFW Post 3267 and American Legion Post 397. A Funeral Mass will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace E. “Pops” Shiver; her parents, Louis Ulfers and Beatrice Ordoyne Ulfers and her two sons, Steven Louis Price and Brian Wilson Price. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Price and three grandsons, Christopher Murray (wife, Belinda), Sean Singleton and Jonathan Price.
