Bertha June Doyle

Bertha June Doyle died peacefully at home on May 7, 2018 at the age of 87 surrounded by her family. June was born in Melba, Idaho and was a hair dresser over 50 years licensed in Missouri, Kansas and Louisiana. She opened June’s Beauty Shop in Kenner and later opened June’s Hair Gallery in Metairie, retiring in 2000. She is survived by her children, Carol Jean Puleo (Carl), Roberta Bogataj Quinn (Dennis), Donna Bogataj Langevin (Larry), Doris Bogataj Burch, Karen Dillenkoffer, Daren J. Dillenkoffer (Sheri), Michael W. Dillenkoffer (Cindy) and Patti Mollere Kelley (Shawn);  her grandchildren: Kelly Puleo Burford, Tracey Puleo Longworth, Christine Mayley Kelly, Bryan Mayley, Amy Langevin Keator, Keith Langevin, Tim Hooker, Terry Hooker Lee, Carlos Colmenares, Preston Disalvo and Amber Dillenkoffer and her great-grandchildren: Kylie and Chloe Burford, Meagan, Matthew and Mason Kelly, Liam and Olivia Keator, Elle and Reese Langevin, Michael and Noah Lee and Connor Colmenares.  She is also survived by her brother, Colburn Leon Doyle and two sisters, Maralus Doyle Hay and Jenny Doyle Wilson.  She was much loved by many nieces and nephews as well as her caretakers, Carolyn Williford, Martha Hawkins and Tony Christiana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, May 12, 2018  at 3:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
