Barbara Allan Carden Dupre

Barbara Allan Carden Dupre passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Ochsner Foundation. She was 39. She is survived by her husband of ten years, Keith Andrew Dupre; two daughters, Aeron Carriere (Josh), Brittany Carriere (D.J.); a son, Sammy Carriere (Kayla) and two grandchildren, Adalie Rainer and Avit Bordelon. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin A. Carden, Tammie R. Weaver and JR Weaver and was one of ten siblings: Katrina Kruitof (Steven), Sandra McCullough (Mark), Christina Weaver (Shannon), Jerry Weaver, Rachell Ashton (Lance), Nichole Black (Jacob), Richard Carden, Douglas Weaver and the late Virginia “Jenny” Weaver. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Barbara was a bartender in the New Orleans area and enjoyed being a mother who was active in her children’s sporting groups as well as hanging out with her grandkids, Addie and Avit. She was a free spirit who loved being crazy and will be missed sorely by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA (504) 833-3786. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at a later date in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
