Atef "Alex" Amari

Atef “Alex” Amari passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Amari; his sons, John Amari and Daniel Amari (Elizabeth); his two grandsons, Liam and Carter Amari; a sister, Huda Amari and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sulmen and Faredeh Amari and a brother, Eid Amari.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the St. John Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie.  To access the interment site, please follow the green arrows. Memorial Prayers will follow at 11:00 am at St. Basil Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3916 Hudson St. in Metairie.
