Anthony Charles Schiro

Anthony C. Schiro passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 87. He was married to the late, Phyllis B. Schiro for 53 years, also, preceded in death by his parents, Carmello (Emile) and Angelina V. Schiro; siblings, Nick J. Schiro, Mary Ferrara, Rose Montalbano and Frances Gallo. Anthony is survived by his daughter, Helen Schiro Nardelle (late, Kevin Nardelle); Grandchildren, Blake A. Nardelle Sr. and Allison Nardelle Ebbs (James); great-grandson, Blake A. Nardelle Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, and Gerald Polito. Anthony worked as an electrician and was a member of the local IBEW 130 for 62 years. Anthony loved bowling, he bowled until the age of 83. He will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM interment to follow at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA.
