Anita Bonsignore James

Anita Bonsignore James, age 71 passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Metairie, LA. Anita was born in Levittown, New York and was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. She is survived by her stepson Paul James (Christy), her sister Linda Bonsignore Hipps (Steve) and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Andrew James, her parents, Frank Bonsignore and Margaret Bonsignore Kaiwi, and her sister Marie Bonsignore Coutant (Harold) , and her brothers Frank and James Bonsignore. She attended Bay High School in Panama City, FL. Anita worked at National/Canal Villere for 11 years and then moved on to Atlas Steel where she worked for 13 years, then at Dillard’s until her retirement in 2011. Anita enjoyed life, lived it to the fullest and always tried to look at life on the bright side. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time.
