Andrew "Drew" J. Williams passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 77. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Margaret Williams; his children, Vicki Williams Lutkins (Chet) and Devin Williams (Krystal); his 5 grandchildren: Victoria, Morgan, Beau, Pyper, and Faith; his sister, Carolyn Williams; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Drew was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Mary Louise Lecamu Williams and Robert Joseph Williams. He is a longtime resident of Metairie, LA and a parishioner of St. Christopher the Martyr. Drew enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1964. He loved hunting and fishing. He worked as a refrigeration mechanic for many years at Weathermasters and retired from Air Control in Kenner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
