Albert Roland Pelafigue

Albert Roland Pelafigue passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anselm and Odette Lanclos Pelafigue. He is survived by his children: Michael Pelafigue (Ashleigh) and Nicole Dennis; grandchildren: Corbin and Logan Dennis; godchild Clare Patel and several cousins. Roland was retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and was very proud of his service to the Parish as a Deputy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being as active as possible. Roland loved listening to Cajun music and liked to reminisce about memories of his childhood spent in the Arnaudville/Grand Coteau region. The family would like to extend special thanks to Roland’s amazing nurse throughout his hospice care, Jacqueline Moore. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr., Metairie, Louisiana 70001.
