Tribute

Ronald Anthony Boudreaux, known affectionately as Ron, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by his side on March 13, 2024. He was born on March 7, 1943, to Willard and Sybil Boudreaux. Ron was a lifelong resident of Kenner, LA.
Ron was a graduate of East Jefferson High School, class of 1961, and went on to proudly serve in the Air Force as Staff Sergeant at a base in Mountain Home, Idaho. He moved south to Kenner, started as a “gopher” loading railcars, then worked mostly as a Chemical Technician during his 31-year career at Monsanto Chemical in Luling, LA. Ron retired at an early age in 1998, which allowed him time to follow his favorite sports teams, especially the New Orleans Saints.
Ron was a great father, loving, and worked hard to support his children. He loved to go camping and vacation with family and friends. Early in life, he liked hunting and fishing. Later in life, he enjoyed music and dancing. Also, he cherished having dogs and cats at home.
Sadly, Ron was predeceased by his parents, sister, Nancy Boudreaux, and brother, Billy Boudreaux. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his wife of 32 years, Sheryl Boudreaux: children, Randy Boudreaux and Michele, Sherri Lanier and Shelby, April Boudreaux; step-children, Wesley Matlock and Amy Zander, Heather McCaslin and Scott, Stacey Bryan and Adam Kinler; his former wife and mother of his children, Sharon Boudreaux Moran; grandchildren, Randy Boudreaux II and Danielle, Grace Boudreaux, Anna Mount and Evan, Bailey Lanier and Alexis, Ethan Lanier, Hunter Nielsen and Aiden Nielsen, Kirsten Roy and Stephen, Nathan Matlock, Jordan Yrle, Lillian McCaslin; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Roy, Anastasia Roy, Jackson Roy, and Emilia Mount; his brother, Tim Boudreaux and Cheryl; as well as many other dear friends and family members.
Ronald Anthony Boudreaux will be greatly missed and forever remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
