Cathy,
Having Bob waiting for us at the airport was always a great start to a trip to New Orleans. He was an excellent driver, very personable, and always well informed.
We particularly enjoyed the picture of the dog he carried on his dashboard for a number of our trips. He told us the story of how he and his canine passenger drove between New Orleans and upstate New York (and back again) over the years.
In Bob's memory, we are making a donation to the Louisiana SPCA.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of Bob's family. We will miss him.

We are saddened at the loss to us and his many friends of one of the nicest, humblest, funniest real New Orleans characters there ever was. That is a real compliment, because Bobby was 100% Bobby, as honest and unassuming as anyone could ever be. We loved him and will miss him.

Bobby was just like family to all the Villere family. He will be missed by us and so many of our friends.
We will be out of town for the service, but will be there in spirit.
