Richard Vance DiStefano passed away peacefully at his home with his mother on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the age of 51. Beloved son of Ruby R. DiStefano and the late John Vincent DiStefano. Father of Nathaniel Vance DiStafano, Seth Joseph Caire, and Melodie Marie Caire. Fiancé of Honora Florine Tassin. Brother of the late Roxanne DiStefano. Longtime best friend of Ross Walden. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Richard loved all things music. He enjoyed attending concerts and played guitar and drums. He worked with his father making artificial eyes for the family business, Artificial Eye Clinic.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
