O'Neil Jean Bourgeois Jr., age 74, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Beloved wife for 49 years to Margaret "Peggy" Moragas Bourgeois. Devoted father of Melissa Bourgeois Mashaw (Andreas), Timothy Bourgeois (Cammie), and the late O'Neil J. Bourgeois III. Loving grandfather of Ian Smith, Katherine Smith, Ilana Marrero, Gage Bourgeois, Kole Bourgeois, Henry Bourgeois, and soon to be great-grandson, Roman Marrero. Son of the late O'Neil J. Bourgeois Sr. and Rose Theriot Bourgeois. Also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Christine and Paul Herry, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A resident of Metairie, LA and longtime parishioner of St. Benilde Catholic Church.
Relatives, friends, and coworkers from Firestone are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
