Lynn Johnson

Lynn D. Johnson, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late, Arnold C. Johnson and late, Doris E. Johnson.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bryan Johnson.

She is survived by 4 siblings: Louise Zanca (late; Tony), Arnold Johnson (Jeanette), Gloria Rodrigue (Melvin), and Patricia Johnson (Warren). Lynn is also survived by 6 nieces, 5 nephews, 10 great-nieces, 9 great-nephews, 11 great-great nieces, and 10 great-great nephews.

Lynn retired from Goodwill – Industries of S.E.LA. She was a member of ARC of Greater New Orleans and Pinnacles Club.

Those who were lucky to know Lynn, knew she lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed bowling, going to dances, spending time with her family, singing her favorite songs, and attending any type of social gathering. She was truly a social butterfly who could light up a room with her presence. Lynn was a fan of the Hallmark Channel, and spent idle time on her iPad; coloring, drawing, doing word search puzzles and facetiming her beloved family. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family would like to personally thank all of the past, and present ARC PCA‘s that went above and beyond the call of duty in taking care of Lynn and showing so much love to Lynn and her family.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the services on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. THE FAMILY IS ENCOUAGING EVERYONE TO WEAR PURPLE. Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm, with a service starting at 12pm, burial will follow immediately in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
