Kossuth J “COUNTRY” Vincent a long time resident of Harahan, Louisiana passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the age of 66. He was born in Lafayette, Louisiana November 22, 1954. He was the son of the late Kossuth Vincent Sr. and Annie McKinney Vincent. Country is survived by his wife Yvette Westmoland Vincent. He was the loving step-father to Michael G Chaisson (Brenda) and Kimberly Chaisson Rodriguez. He was the adored grandfather (PawPaw) to granddaughters Heather A Lopez, Kahlan S. Rodriguez, Cecilia N Son, Jetta Garzoria and grandsons Ryder J Cambre, Brian and Nathan Bell. He is brother to Robert McKinney (June}, A J Vincent, Vince Vincent (Tika), Vicki Vincent Letterman (Al-dec.), Brenda Vincent Beadle (Jr), Mona Vincent Selman (David), the Late Margaret McKinney Cantor (the late Ellis), the late Mona Lisa Vincent. He is brother-in-law to Marlene Westmoland White (John-dec.) Gary Curtis Westmoland (Margaret), Mark Gerard Westmoland (Lisa). He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews, their spouses and children. Chris Ducote (Melissa) (Donovan, Christopher, Triston), Vincent Ducote(Reece, Spencer), James McKinney (Julie) (Annan, Connor, Jolie), Sean McKinney (Kristi) (Kyle, Lachlan, Liam, Hanna) Niece/Godchild Katie McKinney Antunez (Steven) (Caleb, Julianna), Hope Cantor Stough (Chris) (Gabrial, Xander, Christian, Aislinn, Isabel) Amy Beadle Verret (David), Joshuah Vincent(Tracy) (Katie, Zylie) Curtis Gregory Westmoland, Gary Westmoland, Jr. (Anita) (Sadie Jane, Van Mason, Lily Rose). Also survived by a host of cousins and friends/co-workers/ alumni. He was employed by Marsiglia Construction for 44 Years. He attended Warren Easton High and was active in all sports which earned him Prep All American. He loved to travel with his wife by car, plane, boat. Road trips across the United States, staying in cabins up in the mountains. Every year a trip would be planned for somewhere new. This year it was planned to drive to Wyoming. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70001 on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service in the chapel at 12:00 pm, followed by burial.
Please note that due to the current State restrictions visitation is limited to a total of 150 people and a face cover must be worn.
