Joyce Archer Nocheck passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 57 years, Nelson Nocheck. She was the daughter of the late John Archer and Florence Hodgkins Archer and the sister of the late Harris Archer, Johnny Archer, William Archer and Florence Archer Graham. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce worked in retail for over 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. Benilde Church for over 40 years. As well as being a devout Catholic and loving wife, she was also a beautiful soul who blessed the lives of all whom she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Benilde Church, 1901 Division Street in Metairie, LA from 9:00 a.m. until Mass time at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
