Joseph Nicholas Restivo III

Joseph Nicholas Restivo III passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the age of 49. He was married for the past 24 years to his loving wife, Melissa Marcev Restivo. Together they raised 4 children: Nicholas Joseph Restivo, Joseph Restivo IV (Skylar), Gabriel Restivo, and Dominic Restivo. Joey was born in Metairie, LA to Joseph Nicholas Restivo Jr. and the late Delores Raines Restivo. He will also be dearly missed by his siblings, Michael Restivo and Tracy Restivo Revere (Ernie), as well as numerous nieces and nephews: Hailee & Chase Hymel, Ashley Lebeau, Lia Revere, Dylan & Annabella Restivo, Tony, Debbie, Donna, Ricky, Kathy, Ashley, Jason, & Jackie Malbrough, Mallory & Mark Marcev, and Brooke & Shay Fabacher; and his 2 Godchildren, Lia Revere and Hailey Walthall.
Joey was not only a great father and husband, but also an amazing mentor, friend, and nurse. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School, Charity School of Nursing, and Loyola University of New Orleans. He worked for Egan Home Health where he excelled at helping his patients. He enjoyed being a youth soccer coach as well as playing soccer, supporting the Saints and LSU sports, DJing, fishing, and going on family vacations.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Saturday, April 6,2024.
