Jeanne Laussade Dauterive Davis passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Davis and the late Leon A. Dauterive by first marriage. She was the loving mother of Donna Dauterive and Leon A. Dauterive, Jr. and grandmother of Stacey and George Allen. She was the daughter of the late Louis P. Laussade, Sr. and Melvina Danese Laussade. Sister of Marian L. Vocke, Louis P. Laussade, Jr., Lysle G. Laussade and the late Clara L. Gremillion and Miriam L. Rouselle. Special sister of Clara “Rippie” Cinquemano. Jeanne was a special Nana to Annie, Jacie, Kylie, Isaac and Brie Hrabovsky and will also be missed by her godchildren, Alice R. Corkern and Teri C. Hrabovsky as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy and was a resident of Metairie Manor for 16 years. She was president of the Metairie Manor Guild, a member of the Classy Sassy Chapeau Rouge, AARP chapter 4823, the Naim/Kenner St. Philip Neri chapter for Widows and Widowers and the Holy Angels Class of 1954 Luncheon Group.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Msgr. Robert Massett to be the celebrant. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, June 7, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
