Hildred Durand Villafarra “Ann” passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the age of 78. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Hildred Durand and Louis Durand, Sr. Ann was sister of Louis Durand, Jr., Warren Durand, Norris Durand, Carmelite Devlin and Linda Harrell. She was loving mother of Frank McNeese, Cathy Villafarra, Regina Brown, Joyanna Huntley and step-mother of Troy Villafarra and the late Chrysti Villafarra Hall. Ann enjoyed visiting Gulf Coast casinos, dancing and marathon card games. She spent her final days in the company of her loving companion Marco Campo and her home was always open to the countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed spending time with. A private service will be held for the immediate family at a later date. Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA handled the arrangements.
