Gustavo Adolfo Vindel entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the age of 84. He is survived by his children: Roberto Vindel (Ingrid), Julio Vindel (Martha), Fransico Vindel (Julissa), Carmen Lay (Marvin), and Yader Vindel (Sylvia), 19 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Socorro Palacio Vindel. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Irma V. Vindel; his parents, Roberto Vindel and Gregoria Rodriguez Vindel, and many brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and also on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 12:00 noon until Mass time. A Funeral Mass will begin at 2:00 pm followed by the interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
