Evelyn Bowen LeGuenec passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. LeGuenec, Jr. and her mother, Minnie Bowen. She is survived by her stepchildren, Beverly Roberts, Sandra Perrien (Peter) and Paul E. LeGuenec, III (Tessie) and a brother, Paul Bowen of South Bend, WA. Mrs. LeGuenec retired from the Social Security Administration, was a member of Daughters of the Nile and The Order of the Eastern Star as well as Metairie Ridge Presbyterian Church for 26 years.
Visitation will be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in the Courtyard Mausoleum located in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Contributions in Mrs. LeGuenec’s name may be given to Point Coupee Hospice, 350 Hospital Road, New Roads, LA 70760.
