Effie Anderson Raziano, surrounded by her loving family, passed away to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Nick Raziano, Jr., her parents Evie and Wilk Anderson; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by loves of her life; son James I. Raziano (wife Bonnie) and Larry Raziano (wife Pam); her grandchildren Dawn Donnelly, Todd Raziano (wife Stephanie) and Brad Raziano (wife Samantha); great-grandchildren Ric, Evan, Blake, and Brooke, and a host of nephews and nieces who loved her dearly. She was born in Lamar County, Mississippi on September 14, 1922 where she lived until she married Nick Raziano, Jr. in 1943. She was a resident of Kenner, LA her entire married life. She worked for the Jefferson Parish Assessor’s Office from October 1, 1958 until March 17, 1983. After retirement she worked as a Real Estate Agent for Gloria Wagner for approximately 10 years. She was a chartered member of the First Baptist Church in Kenner. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA and the visitation will begin at 9:30 am until service time.
