Donald “Chad” Byard died peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Byard and his sister, Sandra Hubbard. Chad is survived by his loving wife, Gretchen Borgstede Byard, his mother, Carol A. Byard, his siblings, Pam Thomas (Lavon), Tony Byard (Kim), his stepdaughters, Janice Partridge (Chad) and Caitlyn St. Raymond and also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, La and the visitation will begin at 11:00 am until service time.
