Bridget Damonte

Bridget "GiGi" Bates Damonte passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the age of 56. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 32 years, John Alvin Damonte III; her daughter, Amanda Nicole Damonte (Austin); two grandsons, Fletcher Silas Stoute and Archer Cohen Stoute; her siblings, Larry Bates (Jeannine) and Spring Ouber (Darey); and her nieces and nephews: Amelia Masson (Bobby), Eythan Bates, Noah Bates, Harlie Ouber, and Summer Ouber. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Harold Bates.
Bridget was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. She was a member of bunco, enjoyed gift giving, but her satisfying times came from being a GiGi. She co-owned A-Perfect Plumbing with her husband while also working as an insurance liaison for Dr. Rabito, Dr. Failia, and Dr. Depaula of IDANOLA.
